Author, Speaker, Marketing Consultant, Christian Counselor
Pastor Kerr served the Central California Conference of Seventh-day Adventists for five years (2010-2015) in multiple capacities including Associate Pastor and Associate Director for Communication. Pastor Kerr first felt God’s call to ministry in 2002 but pushed the idea aside because she's a woman. In 2008 her career path led to the MBA program at La Sierra University in Riverside, California. But, three classes away from completing her MBA, through much counseling and prayer, she could ignore God's call no longer. She decided to pursue a second masters degree – a Masters in Pastoral Ministry. Upon graduation, she accepted a call to serve in Central California. In April 2014 Pastor Kerr gave birth to mirco-preemie twins Asher and Achsah. Becoming a NICU mom significantly challenged and stretched her faith and tenacity. It was this experience that started her on the path to launch Underqualified and Overwhelmed Ministries. Pastor Kerr now dedicates her life to the full-time needs of the twins and the ministry of supporting others who find themselves in life's crucible.
